Page Yarwood, OD
Bio
Dr. Yarwood has been practicing since 1976. He retired from Kaiser Permanente Oakland after 35 years and serving as Chief of Optometry for 28 years. He is currently practicing at Iris Eye Center in Oakland, since 2011.
Dr. Yarwood has served as President of the California Optometric Association, Alameda Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society, Bay Area Optometric Council and was bestowed as Optometrist of the Year by the COA and ACCCOS. He has been a member of the American Academy for Optometry for over 25 years.
Dr. Yarwood has been an Art Docent with the Oakland Museum of California and served as President of the Docent Council. He is an avid collector of early California paintings and photography.

yasmin javed, OD, FAAO
Bio
Born and raised in San Diego, Dr. Yasmin Javed is a California native. She completed her bachelor’s degree at San Diego State University in 2019, and her optometry degree at the University of California, Berkeley in 2023. Dr. Javed then returned back to sunny SoCal to complete her residency in Pediatrics/Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation at SCCO. Since then, she has moved back up the Bay Area and has joined the clinical faculty at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Javed provides care to patients in the Pediatrics, SVACH, Binocular Vision, and Myopia Control Clinics at UC Berkeley. She is passionate about children’s vision and providing care to those who may not be able to advocate for themselves. Outside of clinic, Dr. Javed enjoys the beach, movies, and all flavors of ice cream.
