Bio

Maggie Burton, OD, FAAO is proud to be a part of the ACCCOS board of directors. She was born and raised in Santa Monica, and recently relocated to the Bay Area. Dr. Burton provides full scope optometry care including management of ocular disease, dry eye disease, pediatric care, and providing contact lens care. She currently works at Boghossian Vision in Danville, CA. Dr. Burton and her husband enjoy biking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants and cuisines.

Rebecca LEE, OD

Bio

A Bay Area native and a third-generation optometrist, Dr. Rebecca Lee is dedicated to serving the East Bay community through eye care. After obtaining her undergraduate degree at UCLA in 2011 and optometry doctorate at UCBSO in 2016, she completed residency training at Portland Veterans Affairs Health Care System with an emphasis on Ocular Disease, Specialty Contact Lenses, and Low Vision.

In addition to practicing primary eye care at East Bay Vision Center, Dr. Lee is passionate about myopia management and fitting specialty contact lenses including orthokeratology and scleral contact lenses. She volunteers to provide vision screenings at elementary schools and nursing homes and serves as a VSP Ambassador. Dr. Lee also speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and basic optometric Spanish.

In her spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys hiking, boxing, and yoga and cheering for the Golden State Warriors.Education

Charlie ngo, od

Bio

Dr. Charlie Ngo received his doctorate of optometry and bachelor’s degree in sociology and molecular and cell biology at UC Berkeley. He received his post-graduate residency training in ocular disease from the Baltimore Veteran Affairs Hospital. Dr. Ngo is a member of the faculty at Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry & Vision Science and an optometrist at the Santa Rosa Veteran Affairs Outpatient Clinic.

In his free time, he enjoys volunteering, hiking, traveling, cooking, golf, and archery.
