"Is it Herpes? A Red Eye Trilogy" by Dr. Sophia Lam.
Dr. Sophia Lam grew up in Los Angeles, CA, and moved up to the Bay Area to complete both her undergraduate and optometry degrees at UC Berkeley. Dr. Lam is the current Michael G. Harris Cornea and Contact Lens resident at the Meredith Morgan Eye Center. She enjoys visiting local farmers' markets and trying new recipes in her free time.
“Low Vision Rehabilitation of Pathological Myopia” by Dr. Kayle Edwards.
Dr. Edwards is originally from Florida which is also where she earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami. She moved to California to attend optometry school at UC Berkeley and has stayed there as the current Low Vision Rehabilitation Resident. After residency, she plans to continue seeing patients in the Bay Area. She is a new member of the ACCCOS and is excited to reconnect with familiar faces as well as meet new colleagues.
“A Review of the Current MIGS Devices” by Dr. Viloria - 1 hour TPG
Dr. Eric Viloria, OD, FAAO is a 2020 graduate of the UC Berkeley School of Optometry and completed a residency in Primary Care / Low Vision Rehabilitation at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System in 2021. He is passionate about teaching and currently precepts interns at UC Berkeley and at the VA. In his free time, Eric enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and golf.
