ACCCOS won COA Awards!

During the COA House of Delegates this past Saturday 2/20/2021, COA announced that ACCCOS won the Society of the Year and Society Project of the Year!

It was an honor to be recognized by COA! Among the many achievements, we were recognized for being able to bring our community together during the pandemic. We hope to continue to serve you all! Congratulations to Dr. Jennifer Fisher, Dr. Melanie Mason and ACCCOS board members and all members!

Jeffrey J. Walline, OD, PhD is the Associate Dean for Research at The Ohio State University College of Optometry.

He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry, and he received his Master’s and PhD degrees from The Ohio State University College of Optometry.

Dr. Walline has led several pediatric contact lens studies, and he is the Study Chair of the Bifocal Lenses In Nearsighted Kids (BLINK) Study, a National Eye Institute-sponsored randomized clinical trial to investigate the myopia control effects of soft multifocal contact lenses.

COA HOD Call for Delegates!

Mika Moy, who served as ACCCOS and BAOC president amongst her many other achievements, is one of 5 candidates running for 3 seats. We need all the votes we can get, and we need a full house (20 delegates) to support her!


Please sign up to be a delegate by December 10th, and you must be present for the first session to vote!

To defray costs of attending, you will receive a $400 stipend from ACCCOS for attending both days, and $150 for attending one day only.

Society delegates must be present during the first session of the House of Delegates on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 8AM-11AM to vote in COA elections.
